Only 33 miles long by 13 wide, the Isle of Man is a remarkable island with the Manx Parliament dating back some 1000 years to Viking times. This island in the Irish Sea is full of dramatic scenery with vast heather moors, huge cliffs and traditional harbours. The town of Douglas is the islands capital. Here you will find a sea front lined with picturesque buildings, an impressive promenade, good selection of retailers and the Manx Museum of island life. Our excursions include two days with a guide. These tours will visit many places of interest throughout the island, including Douglas, and will explain about the history and culture of the people. We have included a journey on the Snaefell Mountain Railway from Laxey to the summit of Snaefell. In Laxey, you can see "The Lady Isabella", the worlds largest working water wheel. There is also leisure time for you to explore some of the many attractions of Douglas.
