OBAN ( Little Bay in Gaelic) is the unofficial capital of the Western Isles. The panoramic views of the mountains, lochs and islands have inspired artists, poets and authors for centuries and Queen Victoria called it " one of the finest spots we have seen".

Hotel:

OBAN CALEDONIAN HOTEL. This luxury, 3 star hotel rises from the waters edge, commanding breathtaking views over the sheltered bay of Oban, to the romantic hills and islands of Scotland's west coast. The Restaurant is a Victorian dining room, carefully restored with chandeliers and ornate plaster. For your convenience there is a lift in the hotel.
