Resort:

With rolling hillside vineyards, historical monuments and winding alleyways, it's easy to see why Rudesheim is one of the most popular destinations in Germany. The most famous street in Rudesheim is a narrow alley called Drosselgasse, where you will find restaurants & cafes and often live musicians performing in the beer gardens. Our excursions include Alken, famed for its wine. You have time to explore Cochem with its fairytale castle, sitting high above the River Mosel. We visit the historic city of Mainz with its restored half-timbered buildings in the old town and picturesque narrow streets. There is a stop at the famous viewpoint, Loreley Rock and an opportunity to visit the local Asbach Brandy Distillery. We travel to the beautiful town of Idar-Oberstein famous for its gemstone industry and magnificent church built in to the rock face, dating from the 14th century. Here we include a visit to a gemstone factory and you will have the opportunity to enjoy a lunchtime German BBQ.

THE RUDESHEIMER HOF HOTEL - The Rudesheimer Hof Hotel is located in the centre of the town, giving easy access to the local attractions.
