The Scottish Borders is an area of scenic beauty, with miles of open moorland, green valleys and rocky coastline. Throughout this tour you journey through this special landscape visiting friendly towns and picturesque villages. Melrose, birthplace of the game of rugby sevens, lies in the Tweed Valley at the foot of the distinctive triple peaks of the Eildon hills. Melrose's ruined 12th Century Abbey is the burial place of the casket believed to contain the heart of Robert the Bruce. Our excursions include the Victorian spa town of Moffat and the Royal Burgh of Jedburgh, with its Abbey and beautifully renovated buildings. We visit the fishing town of Eyemouth, with its award-winning museum of local history, the border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Kelso, described by Sir Walter Scott as 'the most beautiful, if not the most romantic village in Scotland'. There is also leisure time in Melrose.

Retaining many original features, this hotel offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, while ensuring all your needs are catered for. The elegant restaurant serves an array of delicious dishes, incorporating the best of local produce. There is no lift in the hotel, however some first floor rooms are available.
