Situated on the border of Belgium, Holland and Germany, Valkenburg is one of Holland's oldest resort towns. During the festive period visitors from all over the world come to see the lavish Christmas Markets. The town is beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, impressive illuminations and rows of market stalls. In this magical setting you can purchase a range of special gifts and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The network of caves located close to the town, are also part of the market, being transformed with decorations, lights and traditional entertainment provided by local musicians and choirs. Our excursions include a visit to a traditional clog maker where you can watch the craftsmen at work and a cheese farm, selling a variety of delicious cheeses. There is also ample leisure time for you to explore the vast markets in Valkenburg.

Hotel:

THE ATLANTA HOTEL - The Atlanta Hotel enjoys a central location within the town of Valkenburg. This popular hotel has a reputation for providing friendly service and excellent facilities. The stylish restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including many traditional favourites and European classics. In the evening you can relax with a drink in the garden or enjoy the views from the roof patio. For your convenience there is a lift in the hotel.
